Almost Free

Last Saturday, I decided to test out my couponing skills. I didn't have much luck, because most of the on-sale stuff at CVS was gone. But I did score of some Garnier stuff. CVS was having a sale 3/$10. Plus I had a $1 coupon for shampoo and $1 coupon for a hair product. This knocks down the price to 3/$8. The total cost with tax =$8.66! Plus I got $3.50 in ECB!!

$5.16 for ALL three products!! The price w/o the savings would have been $16.07. I saved almost $11!!!

Blog Name

I changed the name so many times, but none fit. I tried crafty names - but my blog wasn't just about crafts. I tried names about family - but my blog really wasn't about family. A Frugal Acorn - this is what I came up with at midnight nursing my baby. It is amazing what you can come up when you are dead dog tired with a foggy brain. Frugal - cheap Acorn - seed of a tree - green, plus acorns are a food source This way my blog can be dedicated to life, cheap living, green living and creative living. Yep! That is my name.
